Job Description
40 hours + Occasional OT. Swing Shift. Must work a day of the weekend.
Job DescriptionPerform all cafeteria duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities.
Responsibilities- Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
- Store foods in designated areas in accordance with wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures.
- Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
- Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
- Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
- Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Relay relevant information to supervisor.
- Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness.
- Experience in food service, line cook, food preparation, tray line, and food prep.
- Ability to stand and move for 8 hours.
- Ability to clean, prep food, and serve food.
- Reliability and a good record of attendance as verified by previous manager.
- Must be able to work well with a team.
- Cooperation and reliability are important factors in this role.

Work EnvironmentShifts: $17/hr for day shift – M-F 6am – 2:30pm; $19/hr for evenings and weekends – Noon – 8:30pm (must be open to working all 7 days, only work 5 in a week).
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Forest Grove, Oregon.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00
