Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Help Desk Technician works with personnel to provide technical support. Maintains and repairs computer workstations.
Performs any other duties necessary to meet IT department requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle Help Desk tickets. Computer hardware / software trouble shooting and installation. Desktop support Escalate as required. User onboarding Create accounts (AD, O365, etc.) Configure hardware (Workstation, Phone, printers, etc.) Create and update documentation. Facilitate moves of IT equipment. Install workstations and other computer peripherals. Maintain inventory of IT assets. Provide reports as required. Work with other personnel to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Assist in wiring and cable terminations for hardware as the need arises. Monitor correct use of computer equipment and software to ensure compliance by personnel to company acceptable use policy. Develop constructive and cooperative relationships with users Requirements
Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent experience Knowledge of PC hardware and the ability to troubleshoot issues. Proficient with Windows operating systems and software. Ability to communicate and work well with others. Exhibit good verbal and written skills Good problem-solving skills and technical ability. Solid knowledge of computer peripherals. Ability to multitask and manage prioritization of tasks.
