Your Impact:
As a Product Owner at Skyward Federal, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the development and success of our products. Your insights and decisions will shape the product roadmap, prioritize features, and ensure that we deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
Where You'll Take Charge: Product Strategy & Vision:
Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals and customer needs. Backlog Management:
Prioritize, manage, and refine the product backlog to ensure the most impactful features are delivered first, balancing short-term and long-term objectives. Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure seamless execution of product initiatives and alignment with overall company strategy. Stakeholder Communication:
Gather and incorporate feedback from key stakeholders, customers, and end-users to inform product decisions and refine product features. Feature Definition & Requirement Writing:
Write clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications for product features. Product Quality Assurance:
Be an expert of the product, and ensure releases meet defined acceptance criteria. Your Edge: Familiarity with technical architecture and software development processes Understanding of user-centered design and UX/UI principles Clear technical writing and communication Excellence in requirements analysis and documentation Ability to write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities Strong organizational and time management skills Familiarity with government software products Understanding of software development lifecycle Experience with classified environments and systems Background in business analysis and requirements gathering Growth Potential: Product Owner > Sr Product Owner > Technical Product Manager > Senior Technical Product Manager > Director of Product Management > Head of Product Compensation and Benefits: Targeted Compensation:
