THE ROLE: Lead Capture Manager Job Summary: As a
Lead Capture Manager
for Presidio focusing on the State/Local Government and Education (SLED) markets and contracts across the United States, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy. Your responsibilities will include working with the internal Presidio SLED Sales Teams to identify emerging Government customer opportunities and trends, develop "winning business" strategies, pricing, partner, and contract capture strategies. Travel Requirements: This position may include some infrequent travel. Job Responsibilities: Act as the capture team lead in coordination with key internal stakeholders (e.g. partner teams, sales teams, proposal team, engineering teams, contracts, legal support, etc.) to position Presidio and our partners to win the business Executes strategies and tactics to deliver a qualified pipeline of national contract opportunities with pursuit/win plans for each. Experience translating capture strategy into proposal win themes during the proposal stage Research and analyze available data to identify customer solutions needs and buying trends (from a variety of sources to include State Budgets, government trade sources and procurement sites) Run capture and promotion campaigns/programs related to vertical market penetration (including OEM engagements) Build and manage a pipeline of National SLED contract capture opportunities and develop/drive the pursuit plan for each. Specifically, Presidio is focused on increasing its pursuits in services and digital solutions. Participate as part of a National SLED Operations Team who is responsible for overall compliance and oversight of Presidio's expansive SLED contract portfolio. Develop win strategies, customer friendly procurement approaches, technical discriminators, and innovative strategies working with Presidio stakeholders and partners specific to each opportunity Be a thought leader with respect to program pursuit, proposal responses, win strategies, technical discriminators, solutions providers, and pricing
Required Skills: Develop business development strategies to plan and drive contract capture across the United States SLED portfolio. Lead and manage large scale RFP responses to win SLED contracts. Ability to navigate market intel tools and data to inform contract capture strategies (Example: Presidio team currently uses eRepublic Navigator tool). This candidate must have demonstrated ability to understand and navigate acquisition policies & procedures and have experience with SLED government compliance requirements. Proven experience managing a portfolio of engagements including cloud with timelines varying from weeks to multiple years and numerous milestones Excellent communication and writing skills, including the ability to author, create, and develop winning proposals Ability to lead small team and deliver internal and external executive level presentations.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience or military experience At least 3 years of direct capture manager or business development experience, preferably IT in the Public Sector space focused on Government Agencies (Federal or SLED)
