Description: Mail Room Operations Receive incoming USPS and overnight courier mail/parcels Process outgoing shipments Fed-Ex UPS USPS Act as the direct liaison with all mail support service vendors i.e. postage vendors FedEx UPS DHL etc. Sort and distribute all incoming mail same day of receipt Resolve issues with incorrect returned mail Pickup outgoing mail from mail stops and apply correct postage Arrange for pickup of outgoing mail Weigh mail to determine correct postage Daily processing and sorting pickup and delivery of all inbound and outbound courier and mail. Reconcile and account for all incoming and outgoing mail and packages. Primary Point of Contact for receiving/dispatching/tracking work requests to technical staff vendors managers the client and/or other service providers as necessary. Proactively develop and maintain client relationships and provide exceptional service as reflected by client feedback ensuring that expected service levels are achieved. Complete understanding of the role in the mail room and its responsibilities Request funding for postage Ensure office is adequately stocked with mail supplies Track daily workflow by logging daily task and activity on Volume Report. Submit volume report to the Facility Manager weekly. Adhere to internal procedures Work with Lead to update internal procedures for site specific tasks Travel to other sites to assist when needed All other duties and tasks assigned Additional Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 1 to 2 years of administrative/mail room Must be reliable and professional Self-motivated organized and strong time management skills Attention to detail Nice to have Knowledge of Corrigo is a plus Knowledge of reprographic equipment operations a plus About Aston Carter: Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
