Commercial HVAC Technician

Our client in the Property Management industry is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician to join their team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be part of the maintenance team supporting clients in the area. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in HVAC, as well as experience in electrical and piping/plumbing.

Job Title: Commercial HVAC Technician

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Pay Range: $32-$35/hr

What's the Job?

• Operate, inspect, and maintain all refrigeration, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, production equipment and systems in assigned facilities to obtain most efficient operating results and life expectancy.
• Assure that equipment is being maintained in an energy efficient, safe manner and downtime is reduced to a minimum by anticipation of necessary repairs and keeping records of past operating experiences.
• Perform inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc.
• Strong focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting Refrigeration Systems and repairing facility equipment on all HVAC systems.
• Individuals are expected to demonstrate technical expertise in HVAC and refrigeration and be multi-skilled in electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, Material Handling Equipment and others in order to successfully complete daily/weekly work assignments.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in the technical aspects of HVAC.
• Basic experience with plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair and maintenance. Knowledge of overall system design and applications.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• EPA Universal Certification.
