Position Overview:

• Job Title: School Social Worker

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with school personnel (including psychologists, counselors, nurses, principals, and teachers) to assess students academic, mental, and emotional health, developing tailored success plans.
• Provide casework services addressing personal, social, or emotional challenges impacting educational progress while maintaining accurate case records and documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments and make referrals to families as necessary.
• Consult with school staff and community agencies to share and gather information, establishing roles in student behavior modification.
• Represent the school positively to parents, highlighting the institution's commitment to each child's education, growth, and development.

Qualifications:

• Master of Social Work (MSW) degree required.
• Current State Social Work license.
