Strong Telemetry Skills Experience titrating vasoactive and inotrope medications Chest tube experience Past ICU experience Open Heart experience (preferred) Temporary pacing (preferred) Swan-Ganz Catheter experience (preferred) Intubation Central line and arterial line placement Chest tube placement Schedule Information
12 shifts month (3 shifts a week) 4 weekend shifts Month Department leadership completes the schedule around the RTO Floating will be on a rotation basis with Travelers floating first MyCare board are updated each shift during bedside shift report Bedside shift report is completed at each change of shift Unit Specific Information
Number of Beds: 25 Patient Ratios: 2:1 Unit staffing description: No LNAs or PCTs. Around the clock mid-levels, Trauma surgeons and respiratory therapist Type of equipment: GE Monitors, Hamilton Bipaps and Hiflows. Puritan ventilator, Hemospheres Documentation system: Meditech Expanse Additional Details
Dress Code: Scrubs (color doesn’t matter) Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc.
