Please note: The COT might need to float to all the clinics depending on the need Job Summary: The Ophthalmology Technician, under the medical direction of the Ophthalmologist (MD), assists the ophthalmologist by performing tasks, collecting data, administering treatments as ordered and supervising patients. Manages contact lens services. Takes patient histories, administers tests and evaluations, takes eye measurements for the purpose of diagnosis and performs related clinical support. Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Completion of an approved training program for Ophthalmology Technician. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Ophthalmology Technician (COT) or Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT). BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network Additional Details

To qualify as a traveler, the perm address of the traveler must be more than 50 miles away from the facility.
