(1st Shift, Starting Wage $23.00 + per hour DOE)

SUMMARY Perform planned and laid out work by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintain all molds, fixtures, and dies used in production. Evaluate all said tooling and report to engineering on possible damage or excessive wear Assist production in setup of molds and machinery Provide troubleshooting assistance for production Basic maintenance of molding machines, including liquid silicone molding machine Assist in engineering team R&D activities Assist in mold validation activities Responsible for documenting mold change and machine adjustments including troubleshooting and equipment maintenance. Makes effective technical decisions and communicates them to Engineering, Production, and management to support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Work with production personnel to ensure molded components meet requirements and make adjustments as needed. Generate documentation on mold runs for traceability and reproducibility. Work with Quality and manufacturing departments to ensure the quality of production and products produced meet company standards. Following established procedures to maintain a clean and organized environment. Ensure safe working practices are followed

Previous manufacturing or machining experience preferred. Plastic injection molding experience a plus. Good mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills required. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to communicate effectively. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to perform basic math calculations. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
