Infra Architect
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Design and Planning: Develop and design the architecture of data centers, ensuring they meet the organization's requirements for scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Implementation and Deployment: Oversee the implementation and deployment of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking components.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Ensure continuous monitoring and maintenance of data center operations to guarantee optimal performance and uptime.
- Security Management: Implement and manage security measures to protect data center infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of data center failures or disasters.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other departments, such as IT, operations, and security teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of data center infrastructure
- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of VMware virtualization solutions, including ESXi Hypervisor, vSphere, and vCenter.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using tools like Terraform for automated provisioning and configuration.
- Implement and manage cloud resources on platforms such as AWS, including virtual machines, databases, and networking.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, implementing security best practices for network and VMware environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various technologies and optimize system performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively
Salary and Other Compensation:
This position is accepting applicants until 12/27/2024
The annual salary for this position is between [$105,750] - [$167,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
