Job Description
SUMMARY
Candidate is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the patrons, employees, and all properties owned by Presque Isle Downs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Candidate will be required to write reports of all incidents that occur.
- Candidate must understand the importance of guest safety.
- Candidate performs functions such as checking identification of patrons and ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations of the PGCB, PLCB, the PHRC, and the standard operating procedures of Presque Isle Downs.
- Candidate must be professional and courteous at all times to both employees and the public.
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills, be polite, smile and present a neat appearance.
- Candidate will aid in the destruction of used cards and dice from table games.
- Candidate will be responsible for escorting fills, credits, and documents to and from the cage and pit.
- When walking through aisle ways, candidate should make sure all vacant, nonfixed slot seating is appropriately tucked in as close to the slot machine as possible and isle way is maintained.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. Security experience is a plus. Prior working knowledge of customer service is essential.
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively after groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATH ABILITY
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must possess intermediate PC skills. Microsoft Office experience required.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There are no supervisory responsibilities in this position.

The noise level is high. Candidate will be exposed to smoke on the casino floor. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
