YOUR TYPICAL DAY AS A DENTAL HYGIENIST ASSISTANT
As a Dental Hygienist Assistant, you begin your day in our state-of-the-art facility, where your responsibilities play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. You meticulously prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure that every detail is in place for the day's procedures. Greeting patients warmly, you assist them throughout their visit, providing much-needed comfort and reassurance.
Your duties include taking and developing X-rays, educating patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care, and maintaining precise patient records. Collaborating closely with our experienced dentists, you utilize advanced technologies such as iTero Scanners and CEREC for same-day crowns, to provide superior dental care and ensure an optimal patient experience.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant
- Proficiency with Dentrix/Dexis software
- Knowledge of comprehensive dentistry and Invisalign
- Experience with or willingness to learn advanced equipment such as iTero and CEREC
- Outstanding customer service skills and a positive attitude
- A coachable demeanor with great organizational skills
- A team player
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with endodontics, oral and maxillofacial, and orthodontics
- A great communicator with an excellent bedside manner
WORK SCHEDULE
We offer flexible scheduling within our operational hours:
- Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- Friday, 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM
- Every other Saturday, 6:30 AM - 12:00 PM
