The PCA Group of Companies is currently looking for a QA Tester. The QA Tester will be responsible for coordinating QA feature testing efforts in several projects. As a part of the information Technology team, you will work closely with our other IT team members to ensure that we are delivering high-quality experiences. The QA Tester will be responsible for planning, creating, implementing, and executing testing for core areas of our organization.

Please keep in mind that this is an in-office position in Ronkonkoma, NY.


Responsibilities

  • Build and manage testing estimates, schedules, timelines, test cases and runs.
  • Collaborate with our TPMs to interface with external QA resources and with the development team to track defects during feature development.
  • Drive the development and execution of test cases and suites for new features.
  • Report project testing efforts to our project leads and production team.
  • Work with the QA leadership team on QA process improvements.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 0-2 years of manual QA testing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
  • Experience leading, building, and designing test strategies for game and consumer-facing products.
  • Ability to work both individually and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Inquisitive and detail oriented, must ask the "why" and "how"
  • Self-starter, independently driven and motivated
  • Clear and concise verbal, written and interpersonal skills including the ability to work with teams
  • Develop and execute effective test strategies and plans.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively.

Compensation:

  • Compensation commensurate upon experience ($58,500.00 to $65,000.00).
  • Medical, dental, vision, and 401K available on the first of the month after 60 days
