Job Title- Senior Python Tester

Job Type – Full Time

Location – Irving, TX


Key Responsibilities

  • Write, maintain, and execute automated tests using Python and related testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, PyUnit, Selenium, Robot Framework).
  • Plan, design, and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests to ensure product quality.
  • 7+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on Python automation.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working with developers to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal testing frameworks and tools.
  • Generate and manage test data to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand product requirements and design effective test cases.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and deployment.
  • Assist in performance testing and profiling of applications using Python-based tools.
  • Document test plans, test cases, and test results. Ensure test scripts are maintainable, reusable, and well-documented.


Required Qualifications

  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in writing automated test scripts.
  • Experience with Python testing libraries such as Pytest, Unit test, and Selenium (for UI testing).
  • Experience with automating functional, regression, and performance tests.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git for managing code and collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and debug code.
  • Ability to identify edge cases, prioritize testing areas, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting issues, collaborating with teams, and documenting tests.
