Responsibilities :
- Quality Assurance Methodologies:
- Knowledge of QA Processes : Proficiency in various QA methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Lean.
- Testing Techniques : Experience with different types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, user acceptance, and performance testing.
- Automation Tools : Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium, QTP, or similar is preferred.
- Test Management Tools : Experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or HP Quality Center for managing and tracking test cases and defects.
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC):
- Understanding of SDLC : Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and how QA integrates with each phase.
- Requirement Analysis : Ability to review and analyze requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, and testable.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Basic Programming/Scripting : Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL) can be beneficial.
- Database/SQL : Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation
Required Skills :
- Professional Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing roles.
- Experience with IBM ACE, APPIGEE, DataPower
- Experience in leading QA teams, including hiring, training, and mentoring QA engineers.
- Proven track record of managing the end-to-end QA process for complex projects.
- Project Management:
- Experience with project management practices and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies in the context of QA.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively interacting with stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and executive leadership.
- Ability to clearly articulate quality standards and expectations.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking:
- Strong analytical skills to identify issues, assess their impact, and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Attention to Detail:
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all aspects of a product meet the required quality standards.
- Collaboration:
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, product managers, and customer support
