Welcome to DAS Technology Group; we are specialized recruiters for the RF/Microwave & Defense/Space Industry. We are working on behalf of our client who designs and deploys RF and Radar products for a wide variety of exciting commercial and military applications.
They are looking to hire a Product Engineer for their Chicago office to work with their R&D, Sales teams and customers to deliver RF and Radar Solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Product Technical documentation, evaluation kit bill of materials, user’s guides (in cooperation with R&D and Sales teams), and all materials to ensure a positive customer “out of box” experience.
- Optimize system configurations for customer applications, including final software programming of product before customer shipment.
- Be an active part of future product roadmap definition. Understand customer expectations and requirements of their use cases and what’s most important to them. Document improvements and next generation features to consistently deliver world beating products.
- Participate in team review of hardware design, hardware/software/firmware partitioning, and implementations.
- Work closely with technical sales & marketing to prioritize, plan for, and deliver customer success when they use our products.
- Experience in radio system products. Must understand and have experience in RF systems and implementation of these systems in real world environments.
- Demonstrated hardware debugging skill using bench equipment (spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, etc.)
- Some software experience including any of the following: C, Python, and Matlab
- Demonstrated success in technical problem-solving skills, and leadership of solving these systemically across an organization.
- Strong written & verbal communications skills, good interpersonal skills
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience
- Must be a US Citizen
- Reports to Product Engineering Manager
- This role is onsite at our clients' modern facility in Chicago, IL.
