We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Product Service Technician located in our Southern Pines, NC facility. The primary function of this position is to provide synchronous and asynchronous technician-level technical support to third-party field technicians and end-users of Commercial products.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide troubleshooting and repair support both in person and via video meeting/phone/email/etc. to HBC customers and service providers, globally.
  • Develop troubleshooting guides for HBC products.
  • Answer other customer/consumer contacts by phone, email, and other channels.
  • Work with product development engineers to identify service parts.
  • Coordinate on-site service requests from consumers and process credit requests from global service network.
  • Train teammates on new products and major revisions to existing products.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in engineering technology (or similar degree), or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of applicable work experience
  • Ability to travel, up to 10%
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and apply learned product knowledge to determine the root cause of malfunctioning Commercial food service equipment
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Windows products and the ability to enter data in a computer database
