Job Overview:
The Product Inspector is responsible for conducting and handling inspections, both visual and manual, of our products to ensure they meet our quality standards. This role also includes processing and preparing packaging for shipment, ensuring that all packaging adheres to our quality standards, tolerances, specifications, and requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Follow all safety and HESS policies.
· Must be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
· Must have working knowledge and basic data entry skills.
· Must be able to use basic mathematical calculations, add, subtract, multiply and divide.
· Accurately identify material and or product and be able to separate products that are not satisfactory.
· Use inspection tools to perform product measurements.
· Communicate with Department Supervisor on nonconformance issues and general discussion.
· Using the 5S Principals, must maintain a clean and organized area.
· Will be able to communicate with supply chain for materials and product
· Will inspect individual products for defects.
· Will package and label all conforming rounds and properly sort nonconforming rounds.
· Must be able to print labels for the packaging of conforming rounds for shipment.

· High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.
· Ability to accurately read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals for conformance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

· Must be able to lift 25 pounds from floor level to chest height.
· Must be able to stand for 3-hour duration.

· Must be able to lift hands above shoulder height multiple times throughout the 10-hour shift.
· Must be able to carry material at waist height for a distance.

The work is primarily performed in a typical production/manufacturing environment. Wear safety attire or protective gear, may be exposed to distracting noise levels, will work within a few feet of other workers. For the most part ambient room temperatures and lighting as found in a typical office environment. This work is done on site and does not require travelJoin our team.
