Our thesis is that businesses of the future will be powered by agentic human-in-loop-machines that make every business function 10x more efficient.

Actively AI is building that machine for sales & marketing, focused on accelerating pipeline generation. We power the day-to-day for outbound teams at dozens of companies like Ramp, Verkada, Ironclad, and Justworks.

In addition to top-notch customers that love our product, our team is incredibly high caliber - the co-founders are former Stanford AI researchers and the engineering team comes from Harvard, CMU, Berkeley, Brex, Scale AI, and Google. We're also backed by top investors, including First Round Capital (seed investors in Uber, Square, Roblox, Clearbit), Lachy Groom, and Stanford AI faculty.

We have a very ambitious product and scaling roadmap, there's strong market interest in what we are doing, and it's time to put the foot on the gas. About The Role

This role is preferably based out of NYC at our office, but alternatively in SF as we open up an office there.

Actively AI is seeking a highly creative, thoughtful first marketing hire to lead our marketing initiatives. We are in a space where there's a lot of noise / surface-level competition but our product is differentiated & loved by the most successful companies. We need to spread awareness to buyers & the broader ecosystem in a fast & sustainable way.

In this role, you'll work closely with the founders & sales team to align marketing strategies with our business goals. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing startup and make a significant impact on our growth trajectory. Our goal on the marketing side is for every company (& GTM leader) within our ICP to be aware of us, understand our core value props and differentiation, and provide valuable content / learnings for this group of people while rapidly driving inbound demand.

Your Role Includes:
  • Work with customers, sales, and founders to understand our core personas deeply and build targeted marketing & content that resonates deeply with them
  • Build the brand. Establish a clear, differentiated market positioning to rise above the noise
  • Publishing case studies & content, and leading webinars alongside our customers — we are blessed to work with name brand companies who are growing very quickly and find Actively AI extremely valuable! We need to make it easy for them to share that publicly through things like G2, LinkedIn, video testimonials, etc.
  • Build strong sales enablement material to help improve both sales messaging as well as deal-related materials (ex. decks, demos, one-pagers)
  • A bit of growth-related work too: investing in ads on Google + LinkedIn, gifting, or other creative ways to drive more direct pipeline (ex. podcasts)
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of early-stage marketing experience at a B2B SaaS startup that operated in a competitive environment
  • Self-starter with an enormous appetite for learning and ambition to build something great
  • Willing to 'do what it takes' to win, whether that means working in the evenings and on a weekend to execute on deliverables
  • Entrepreneur by heart (always identifying opportunities for improvement + contribution)
  • Incredibly strong communication + writing skills
  • Quantitative intuitions and hypothesis-based reasoning
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to quickly change perspectives
