The Product Owner will gain a detailed working knowledge of how users interact with our solutions and create detailed user stories, manage backlog, and own the delivery of new capabilities to support and enhance user workflow and overall experience. They will work in partnership with Product Management to refine Epics, Features and Stories to a granular level to deliver continuous value. The Product Owner will look to product and /or portfolio leaders to gain knowledge on industry dynamics and business practice trends to form a well-rounded knowledge base from which to manage features and backlog. The Product Owner will ultimately be responsible for product functionality, usability and successful delivery that delights our customers. They will operate as the critical interface between customer and our business and technical delivery teams.

What You'll Do

  • Create product plans/delivery schedules and product backlogs that establish development priorities for each release, and Agile Sprints
  • Work closely with Product Management to refine Epics and provide details Features and Stories for engineering teams to work off
  • Act as the main point of contact with Engineering, represent the customer problems and use cases, using user stories to drive product development
  • Prioritize product enhancements to improve functionality and usability, and maximize customer retention
  • Define detailed product requirements, flow diagrams, functional specifications and acceptance criteria to support new feature development
  • Final signoff and ownership of new features/stories
  • Work with R&D / engineering and usability experts to design and validate user interactions
  • Serve as an escalation point for support and services to handle product related customer issues
  • Work with customers, user councils and focus groups to review product designs and prototypes
  • Validates system, user and functional test plans to ensure all product functions work collectively as designed and expected
  • Analyze customer usage data to drive realistic performance testing approaches as well as enhancing test coverage
  • Own all aspects of Product release and delivery, including GTM, Requirements, Acceptance, Release Training, Release Notes, etc.
  • Assist with internal training and new product/release rollout activities, including any essential support and services documentation
  • Produce Sales enablement collateral for new features and releases, and perform all associated Sales enablement trainings
  • Demo new upcoming features and incorporate feedback into future enhancements
  • Help develop and review marketing collateral for product releases
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager or equivalent voice of the customer role
  • Experience managing multiple products/solutions or R&D teams
  • Passion for understanding customers, their problems, and experiences
  • Experience with agile project and product management practices
  • Experience of writing/refining features/stories and acceptance criteria for engineering use.
  • Prior experience in SDLC and enterprise cloud software solutions highly desirable
  • Ability to establish rapport, credibility, and influence with people in all areas and levels of the organization Confident, high energy, self-motivated and a true team player.
  • Ability to quickly establish relationships and interact with executives and senior management in customer accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to work and excel in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict attention to details.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Some working knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
  • Some working knowledge of VSTS is a plus.
