Insight Global is hiring: Product Engineer in Wilsonville

A Fortune 200 client in looking to add a Sr Transistor-Level EM/IR Product Engineer to their team! This role is a hybrid position, requiring candidates to reside within 50 miles of one of their many office locations nationwide, with a preference near Freemont, CA or Wilsonville, OR. You will also travel up to 20% in this role, to both other Siemens locations as well as client sites, both domestically and internationally. The client's analog product is growing rapidly and they need assistance introducing this new tool to their worldwide customers. In this role, you will work with the team to define, support, and market transistor-level power analysis and reliability signoff.

This role will include roughly 30% customer support and 70% outbound support or working with engineering. You will be managing multiple customers and projects at once. You will be responding to problems regarding their analog product - you will dive into the product, pick apart the problem, identify what is going wrong, and troubleshoot. To do so, you will be conducting simulations with spice tools, parasitic extraction, working with layout tools, etc.

Responsibilities May Include:

-Enabling customers to successfully analyze and eliminate transistor-level EM/IR issues.

-Defining and specifying new features based on customer needs and product strategy.

-Building tight customer relationships.

-Partnering with engineering to agree on specification details and test cases.

-Managing customer and internal stakeholder expectations.

-BS or MS Degree
-Product Development experience

Salary range varies based off of experience level and candidate location. Junior candidates begin around $115K and senior candidates can go up to $215K.
-3+ years of experience in the Semiconductor IC design or EDA industry

-Experience with Cadence Voltus Fi, ANSYS Totem, Synopsys Custom Sim, or mPower Analog

-Experience with transistor-level EMIR analysis

-Expert at running SPICE simulations on both schematic and post-layout netlists (utilizing Cadence Spectre, Synopsys HSIM, Siemens AFS, Solido, HSPICE, Eldo)

-Knowledgeable of layout parasitic extraction (utilizing Star RC, QRC, Quantus, Calibre PEX)

-Experience scripting with Python

-Ability to travel up to 25%
