Collabera is hiring: Manufacturing Engineer in Auburn

Summary:

• Will need to know how molding works, how to run parts and make sure the parts are qualified.
• Will be reviewing all validation docs to determine if meets requirements.
• Position is with a client who manufactures plastic parts/equipment for Client.
• Oversee, manage the project from PO to product release.
• Will be working in a technical role at an Client site that is a 3rd party molding supplier.
• Will need to know how molding works, how to run parts and make sure the parts are qualified.
• Must have good Project Management skills with managing timelines, dates and deliverables and keeping everything on track.
• Must have Validation activities knowledge and skills with IQ, OQ and PQ.
• Looking for someone who can hit the floor running.
• Some knowledge of Injection molding, Validation, Design qualification, metrology, and understand quality aspect of manufacturing.

Must Haves:

• Must have Bachelor’s degree; Polymer is preferred but will consider Science or Engineering degree works.
• 5-8 year experience; 3-5 year of experience should be into Medical device or Pharma industry.
• Experience will compensate for academic background.

Top Skills:

• Project management exp. (PMP not required).
• Support validation activities.
• Make sure can get right support when needed.
• Medical device or Pharma exp. is a must have.

Plusses:

• Master Molder Qualification.
• Metrology, Polymer or Plastic background.
