Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Associate to perform daily operations within our warehouse facility and existing team. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for learning our ERP system to help in all warehouse operational duties, such as inventory receiving, order picking, packaging, shipping, order configuration, return processing and overall warehouse organization. It is important that an associate is comfortable being cross-trained to assist in all required tasks for warehouse efficiency and success. A Warehouse Associate must adhere to all standards of quality control, safety protocols, and dynamic inventory management operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lift heavy objects and drive a forklift & reach truck.
- Accurately match purchase order numbers with shipments being received.
- Check for any damage to goods
- Check quantity of goods being received
- Sign LTL carrier bill of lading or UPS, FedEx etc.
- Move inventory over to stock inventory bin location and put away
- Enter a receipt of goods into ERP system
- Communicate effectively to all of organization, including warehouse and operations team, sales teams, and delivery vendors.
- Participate in routine cycle counts and an end of year physical inventory count to ensure and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Work off of Sales Order picking sheet to locate, move, package, and ship outbound product orders.
- Learn from experienced operations team member on packing and shipping via UPS small packages and LTL – less than truckload shipments These are palletized heavier shipments.
- Take time to report needed supply to Warehouse Manager.
- Actively participate in operation meetings once a week with Operations team- 9a on Tuesdays.
Qualifications
- Received a Highschool Diploma, GED, or similar educational completion.
- Experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
- Positive attitude and workmanship within a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and MS Office applications.
- Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Negotiable salary based on experience.
