Job Description The Marketing Communications Specialist for the Coil Division of Sherwin-Williams Performance Coatings Group will be the central point of execution for demand generation and sales enablement for the Coil and Extrusion businesses. The right candidate for this role must be a quick learner and self-starter who would thrive in a fast-paced environment in a role that is central to the Coil Division and interfaces with all levels of the organization. Responsibilities Marketing Communications Campaign Execution (New product launches, segment demand gen campaigns, promotions, events) Manage and execute marketing communications initiatives including webinars, trade shows, advertising campaigns, annual sales meeting, collateral printing, digital media, association memberships, etc. Serve as a key member of divisional marketing team, interfacing daily with Product Management, Segment Marketing, and Sales. Measure campaign effectiveness and report to leadership and to peers in formal debrief sessions. Point person for new product launch meetings with Product and Segment management. Coordinate creation and distribution of internal and external new product launch announcements. Management of demo videos, color merchandising materials, and other promotional/sales support pieces and internal communications as needed. Public Relations and Thought Leadership Support Marketing Communications Manager and coordinate with Creative Services and outside firms to write press releases. Support and coordinate press release process. Collaborate with Digital Marketing team to ensure coordination of web site with external announcements. Coordinate syndication of thought leadership content across owned, earned, and paid media venues. Work closely with Segment Marketing and Sales organization to drive awareness and utilization of content, as well as ideation for new content (case studies, white papers, videos, etc). Events Support the Coil national sales meeting as core team member. Programming and logistical support for customer meetings held throughout the year Manage event calendar for the Coil Division and communicate with leadership, sales, and marketing teams. Support Marketing Communications Manager with onsite booth leadership and project management booths at trade shows, as well as other trade events to be defined by divisional marketing teams and priorities throughout the year. Leadership of pre-show and post-show trade event follow-ups, coordinating with digital, CRM, and sales teams to ensure leads are followed up on in accordance with SLA. Digital Communications Draft content and support the development of editorial calendars for the Coil social media accounts. Collaborate with regional teams in EMEAI, LATAM, and APAC on content sharing. Develop and publish content for the Coil Division websites and serve as core team member on the ongoing development of the Coil Division websites globally. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Qualifications FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor's Degree KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 3-5 years of marketing communications experience. Demand generation experience. Digital marketing experience. Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously Excellent writing skills Preferred: Self-starter with ability to work independently and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
