Some of the Benefits we provide to you include: Paid Training Medical, Dental, Vision Prescription coverage 401K plan Paid vacation and holidays Shift Differential for 2nd and 3rd shift Health and Wellness Programs Commuter/Van Services/Ripta Tuition Reimbursement Program Safety Boot Reimbursement Program Professional Development and Advancement Opportunities Electrician Responsibilities: Fabricate and install wire-way hangers, stud shooting, install bulkhead stuffing tubes and various sizes and types of cables for lighting, communications, control, power, electronics, nuclear and weapons systems Installation of components (terminal boxes, switches, controllers, wiring harnesses, cabinets etc.) for the various electrical systems Install main power switchboards and electrical nuclear equipment, cut in and hookup cables for installed components and installation and hook-up of ship's lighting Install / build and test fiber optic systems No electrical license required. This position is located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI. Responsibilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment and meet organizational goals Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent Minumum of 1 year related work experience or formal relevant training Ability to frequently carry up to 25 lbs. and push/pull more than 25 lbs.
