What you'll do...

As a Recruiter at H&R Block, you’ll dive into the exciting world of recruiting, managing the entire life cycle for high-volume seasonal and associate-level roles across various business groups. You’ll also get the chance to collaborate with our talent acquisition team on senior-level positions when needed.
Your role will be dynamic and engaging, as you’ll provide regular updates and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from start to finish. Day to Day You'll...
Deliver high quality candidates by creating and implementing innovative and effective sourcing and attraction strategies, including the sourcing of passive candidates.
Facilitate and expedite the selection process by providing consultation and regular communication to hiring managers and People & Culture Business Partners.
Provide an outstanding, seamless candidate experience by acting as an information resource for our candidates and proactively engaging with them throughout the entire hiring lifecycle. 10%
Lead recruitment strategy/intake discussions to ensure deep understanding of business needs and desired candidate profile while communicating recruitment expectations to the hiring manager and PC Business partners based on your research and knowledge of the talent marketplace.
Deliver compelling candidate offers and skillfully negotiate offer details to ensure a seamless and positive experience.
Actively participate in recruitment related projects such as new technology implementation, collegiate recruitment programs, diversity partnerships, recruitment marketing/sourcing tools, and special project recruitment efforts.
Leverage social media platforms and professional networking channels to enhance our talent acquisition efforts, while incorporating key elements of employer branding to enrich the candidate experience and showcase H&R Block’s unique culture and values.
Provide regular updates, clarify expectations, and actively listen to feedback to enhance collaboration and understanding.
Monitor and evaluate metrics utilizing those insights to optimize our recruiting strategies.
Actively partner with our Talent Acquisition (TA) Recruiting and TA Operations team to deliver optimal experiences for our hiring leaders, candidates, and internal key stakeholders.

What you’ll bring to the team…:
Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related discipline or the equivalent through a combination of education and experience.
Work Experience:
2 or more years recruiting/staffing/human resource experience.
Adept at understanding hiring requirements and translating them into actionable steps within recruiting systems & sourcing platforms.
Proven success in previously held positions or internships.
Demonstrated ability to simultaneously handle various facets of the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, employer branding, and metrics tracking.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), customer relationship management (CRM), sourcing tools and job boards.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Effective communication and collaboration skills: active listening, strong verbal and written communication, empathy, and adaptability.
