Position Description:
CGI is looking for a Business/Data Analyst who has experience in business analysis and data analysis. The candidate will collaborate with both business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business needs into technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, and data analysis experience. This candidate will serve as a techno functional expert of a development project consisting of distributed project teams.
This position is located in our Pittsburgh PA office with work performed at client site in Pittsburgh PA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities: •Perform requirements gathering with business stakeholders, including creating deliverables. •Conduct detailed research and analysis to identify solution alternatives •Create user stories, data flow diagrams, and process maps to guide system design and development. •Collaborate with development team to refine, estimate, and track user-stories to completion. •Work with Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts, and Technical Managers to build solutions to meet organizational needs. •Perform Data analysis using SQL. •Responsible for analyzing data to validate business domains and requirements •Develop source to target mappings. •Act as the conduit between the business subject matter experts and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: •Minimum 8+ years of Business and Data analysis experience. •Finance/Banking Industry experience - Nice to have. •Data Analysis using Oracle SQL - MUST HAVE REQUIREMENT •Strong in data analysis, generating reports, presenting the data and graphs. •Exposure to regulations such as BASEL II & BASEL III would be great. •Must have experience in agile software development methodology, writing user stories, test plans, scripts and experience using JIRA. •Performed extensive Business Process Modelling by developing Swim-Lane diagrams, process flow diagrams and Workflow diagrams using MS Visio. •Able to understand the application, process and data movement/ data warehouse concepts. •Developed Source to Target mapping documents. •Developed Excel Reports. •Developed Project Plans and Schedules using MS Project and TFS (Team Foundation Server). •Developed Activity diagram to show Gap-Fit Analysis of As-Is and To-Be business process model. •Strong Documentation skills required.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related IT field

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $59,00.00 - $130,600.00.
