Business Analyst

Job Description: Managing business analysis work or projects with distinct deliverables to a solution. Identifying and documenting business processes, issues, value levers, metrics, and capabilities. Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data. Completing analysis and documentation of as-is capabilities. Conducting interviews to gather business requirements. Supporting required system maintenance activities, including support desk, site support, training delivery, etc. Supporting change management and communications. The Business Analyst is a junior-level resource within the client Data Services Team (IT) who will assist the client Grants and client Budget Teams day-to-day operational activities including reports testing, web application testing, help desk issue resolution, documentation updates, and COTS configurations (Smartsheet). The Business Analyst must be able to forge an independent working relationship with business and external users to manage requirements gathering and issue resolution. This position reports to the client CIO but will also take direction from the Business Systems Analyst who interacts between the IT team and the business.
