As a
Delivery Driver/Warehouse , you will execute operations stocking & preparing orders of building materials for distribution to a network of customers. Customer service and team-oriented focus are of utmost importance. Your work environment will consist of inside, and outside, work areas. Each type of loading and unloading requires strict attention to safety and order accuracy. This position requires well-defined detailed work while producing repeatable and consistently accurate results. An ideal candidate will prefer a steady work style and enjoy executing clear objectives in a team-focused environment.
Responsibilities Ensure the accurate, safe, and on-time delivery of building materials to job sites, warehouses, and residential homes Provide quality service and support to our customers Inspect loaded trucks for order accuracy, comply with weight restrictions, and proper securing Work with customers and co-workers Help coordinate deliveries and assist in maintaining inventory levels Proactively collaborates with management and co-workers as needed Ensure that delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional service Efficiently & accurately organize building materials using a variety of equipment Review all orders to determine if they are picked correctly Ensure orders are free of damage and report to management as needed Banding, wrapping, or packaging material for shipping on commercial trucks & trailers Drive forklift in picking area and build pallet/load Pre-trip vehicle inspection completed daily before departure Follow daily operations schedule, with an ability to adjust to customer needs Load and unload materials safely for transportation with attention to detail Help to continually organize and clean both warehouse and yard work area Accomplish tasks thoroughly, accurately, and on time Job Requirements Valid driver's license and qualified driving record in the last 3 years Able to pass pre-employment drug screening One year of box truck driving experience Able to lift 40-70 pounds throughout the workday Extra consideration will be given to applicants with proven forklift material handling experience Flexibility to work overtime hours as needed Benefits Package Paid Time Off (PTO) & 8 Paid Holidays Each Year Outstanding Family Medical Benefits Package Substantial Stock Ownership Program Competitive Compensation Packages Employer-Sponsored Family Dental Insurance 401k and Roth 401k Investment Accounts Employer-Sponsored Life & Disability Insurance
