With the critical decisions made in our government every day, we need an intel analyst like you to do just that. We’re seeking your advanced advisory skills to join our Financial Intelligence team to help deliver creative solutions to complex problems. As an all-source economic and financial intelligence expert, you’ll bring your research and analytical expertise as we uncover schemes and scenarios that will provide historical conclusions as well as model future events and correlations. Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll explore new data sources, develop effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources including intelligence, law enforcement, commercial and business, and open source information. You’ll validate information and develop tradecraft as you build assessments for senior leaders, policy makers, and the Intelligence Community. As the authority on your portfolio, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset into areas like financial intelligence, economic competition, sanctions evasion, and illicit finance. You’ll be a trusted advisor and share knowledge and findings that drive change. You Have: Experience with conducting all-source research and analysis to uncover persons and entities of interest, and relationships among them Experience with synthesizing all-source information into written products and briefings that conform to analytic tradecraft standards Experience with identifying persons and entities involved in unlawful activity and their sources and methods of support Knowledge of formal and informal financial systems Knowledge of financial crime and unlawful financial activity typologies TS / SCI clearance HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with intelligence analysis, Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with intelligence analysis, or Master's degree and 2+ of experience with intelligence analysis Nice If You Have: Experience conducting economic or financial research, or statistical analysis Experience incorporating financial data into all-source research, analysis, and production Experience with banking or transactional data Knowledge of finance, financial markets, or international economics Knowledge of Python or R programming languages Ability to communicate complex topics to audiences of varied backgrounds, levels, and comprehension Financial intelligence certification such as the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Global Sanctions Specialist (CGSS), or Certified Financial Crimes Specialist (CFCS) Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
