Job Description
We are looking for a Graphic Design leader to join our Procter & Gamble Fabric Care team, working on beloved brands that millions of people use every day, including Downy, Unstopables, Bounce, Gain, and Tide! In this role, you will serve as the leader for Fabric Enhancers, the fastest-growing segment at P&G, focusing on crafting outstanding experiences and innovative packaging. At P&G, Design is a critical part of the diverse team, using our creative superpowers to solve challenges, envision possibilities & bring them to life with outstanding craft, going beyond the encouraged to surprise & delight consumers.
As a Design leader for P&G Fabric Care, you will have the opportunity to craft the future vision of our iconic brands. You will be responsible for crafting the visual strategy, comprehensive visual identity and execution across our brands. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and agency partners to build fabulous and encouraged designs for products that people love.
What You Will Do:
Design Strategy:
Transform market challenges and business objectives into actionable design strategies. Lead the development of comprehensive visual brand experiences and packaging in partnership with best-in-class design agencies. Use systems thinking to excel at brand architecture and brand building. Human-Centered Design:
Understand consumer behavior to build design solutions that address business challenges and meet real consumer needs. Graphic Design:
Use software such as Illustrator and Photoshop to convey ideas, design packaging, and create comprehensive touchpoints that delight consumers. Design Thinking:
Facilitate Design Sprints and design thinking sessions with cross-functional partners to take on sophisticated challenges. Collaboration:
Lead internal and external design partners, fostering problem-solving and delivering superior designs in a fast-paced business environment. Job Qualifications 12+ years of full-time graphic design work experience. BA/BS in Graphic Design or similar field. Strong sense of Design principles and systems, aesthetics, typography, color. A portfolio that demonstrates strong Design Mastery in graphic design, package design and brand identity. Your portfolio will be assessed on creative excellence, system thinking, brand building, storytelling, design thinking & problem-solving. Hands-on graphic design mastery with proficiency in current graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite. Teamwork & Communication: Recognized for excellent collaboration skills and frequently cited by multidisciplinary colleagues for your ability to work effectively with others. Leadership: Forms a clear vision. Influences senior leadership on how to best use Design to grow the business. Leads other designers, internally and externally to be part of that vision. Innovation: Generates new and better ways to get results; Drives improvements systemically to enable repeatable excellence. Learning Agility: Learns from success and failures. Demonstrates curiosity. Utilizes AI-enabled tools to create comping ideas, prototypes, and quick design iterations, enhancing ideation speed and creativity.
