Role: Senior Cloud Data Architect Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: FTE Mode of work: Remote (20% travel to client meetings required) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of data management strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong personality, hands-on experience with legacy tech stack such as SQL DB, Oracle, NoSQL MongoDB, ETL tools as well as expertise in modern technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, GraphDB etc. Should have very strong background on Developing Data Platforms (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lakehouse etc.) and Business Intelligence (PowerBI Tableau etc.). This role requires a thought leader who can oversee our current data footprint and drive significant growth contingent on demonstrating our leadership in data strategy and management.

Key Responsibilities Work with client data leaders, Develop, and maintain a comprehensive data management strategy that aligns with business objectives. Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures on both cloud and on-premise platforms. Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of data management tools and technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with industry standards. Define data governance policies, procedures, and standards to maintain data integrity. Develop and maintain data models, data warehousing, and business intelligence solutions. Ensure data security, compliance, and risk management across all data initiatives. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning. Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data management and architecture.

Requirements Technical Skills 20+ years of experience in data architecture and management. Expertise in one or more cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Fabric, AWS etc. Proficient in multiple cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence principles. Experience with data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks and tools. Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, and Java.

Additional Information Experience in Travel & Logistics, Airlines domain is desirable. Strong willingness to engage with clients through meetings, dinners, and relationship-building activities is essential.
