Together, we can accelerate towards a brighter future. Your Key Responsibilities Work independently on small and medium projects, and as a team leader of larger projects. Evaluate, select, and specify engineered systems or products for a project. Independently complete calculations and drawings for small and medium projects. Develop job specific discipline specifications independently for less complex projects. Lead junior engineers in complex projects. Coordinate with architectural, interiors, and other engineering disciplines. Perform Construction Administration duties including completing field observations reports, responding to RFIs, submittal reviews, and evaluating contractor change orders. Communicate design issues and solutions with the design team and Owner clients. Assist with development of design standards. Qualifications Your Capabilities and Credentials Requisite knowledge and application of structural design codes, standards, and applicable building codes. Strong knowledge of structural systems, seismic design, construction means and methods, materials, and industry standards. Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form concepts and ideas to a diverse audience. Ability to check the work of others for accuracy and completeness. Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in both independently and in team settings. Federal experience required. Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Education and Experience Minimum 6 or more years of related experience. Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, Master’s Degree preferred. Professional Engineering license is required, Structural Engineering license is preferred. Experience with modeling software (e.g., Autodesk Revit). Experience with industry standard Structural Engineering software (CSI, RISA, RAM, etc.). Work Environment Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Salary Range(s): $97,100 - $140,800 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CO and HI and MD. CA Other Areas $97,100 - $140,800 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CA. Benefits Summary:
