Job Description We are seeking an experienced AVEVA PI Automation Engineer to join our team for a greenfield pharmaceutical project. You have a solid background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, expertise with the AVEVA PI System, and a strong understanding of GMP and data integrity requirements. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and commissioning the PI System to ensure robust data management and integration across the site's automation and manufacturing systems Responsibilities: System Design & Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy the AVEVA PI System to support manufacturing, utilities, and quality processes. Develop system architecture, data flow diagrams, and configuration specifications. Set up PI tags, interfaces, and communication with automation systems (e.g., DeltaV, PLCs, and other control systems). Data Integration & Analytics: Integrate PI System with DeltaV DCS, SCADA, MES, and other plant systems to ensure seamless data flow. Configure PI Asset Framework (AF) to enable contextualized data analysis and reporting. Create and manage visualization dashboards and reports using PI Vision or other analytics tools. Project Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system design with project goals and GMP requirements. Lead and participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), and commissioning activities related to PI System deployment. Provide timely support for system installation, testing, and validation. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience working with AVEVA PI Systems in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry. Hands-on experience with S88 batch control and GMP-compliant systems is required. Experience with greenfield projects is highly preferred. Skills: Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and ISPE guidelines. Proficiency in creating and managing DeltaV configuration, including modules, phases, and recipes. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in automation and control systems. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
