Job Description: • Follows clearly defined procedures to provide support to cardiologists, Radiologists and registered nurses for the execution and technical analysis of procedures performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab. • Integrates education, technical competence and patient interaction skills to execute safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a Cardiologist. • Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. • Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety to help deliver optimal patient care. • May be responsible for mentoring and training students. Requirements: • RCIS or ARRT – Radiology. • Must have California radiology technologist license • BLA (AHA) • ACLS (AHA) • 1 year of experience as IR Tech • Shift: 4 x 10 Days, M-F 0700-0900 start times (No weekend requirement, rotating nights and weekend calls) • COVID vaccination Card required • 2 references (Must be of Supervisor and Manager level) EMAIL, PHONE NUMBER, FACILITY NAME AND NAME OF THE REFERENCE
