Req Id: 34995 Job Title: CRM Support Specialist City: West Lafayette Job Description: Job Summary The CRM Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the system-wide graduate CRM and application system hosted by Technolutions Slate. This position will provide system maintenance and support for the Office of Graduate Admissions, as well as work closely with the CRM Administrator, deans, faculty, and staff at all Purdue campuses to manage user accounts, ensure data accuracy, conduct troubleshooting, and provide technical assistance. As a member of the Graduate Admissions team, this position will prepare queries and reports, create/update Web pages, conduct training, perform system maintenance, and handle various daily admissions processes. Serves as a member of the Slate Advisory Council, on various committees, and is a back-up for the CRM Administrator. Duties & Responsibilities Technolutions Slate Maintenance Provide user and technical support to faculty, staff, and prospective students, including troubleshooting, in all areas of the graduate Slate CRM through analysis of data and reports Coordinate and conduct end-user training for application management, deliver communication tools, and other various Slate tools Perform general Slate system maintenance such as creating/updating forms, conditional logic, fields, prompt values, etc. Continually monitor system performance and work closely with Slate technical support team when necessary Review new functionality releases available from Slate through product enhancements With the CRM Administrator supervision, analyze and assess data to support information requests, enabling informed decision-making Recruitment, Admissions, and Application Data Processing Process daily application loads of records from Slate to Banner Process daily credit card reports and transactions Create and maintain Slate user accounts and role access Manage Slate student records including consolidation of records Respond to applicant and recommendation provider inquiries and troubleshoot issues Electronically download GRE, TOEFL iBT, and other test scores into Slate and Banner Perform exports/imports of recruitment/application/admissions data Create and update existing training materials Create and update webpages Data Gathering and Formatting Develop/create/run customized queries to retrieve prospect, applicant, admissions, and enrollment data Modify and run pre-existing queries to retrieve prospect, applicant, and admissions data Develop and format adhoc reports Retrieve data for graduate programs through on-demand queries and data extraction Produce data reports to assist leadership in decision-making Leadership and Contributions to the University Serve on various committees representing the Office of Graduate Admissions Represent the Office of Graduate Admissions at various events as needed (orientation, commencement, etc.) Offer other contributions to the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars as needed What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field One or more years of experience in technical support/help desk, software configuration, computer programming, extraction/manipulation of data, or project planning/management experience Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of required education and related experience Strong technical skills and aptitude Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office products and Internet usage Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to work with a diverse group of technical and non-technical people and handle interactions/concerns with professionalism Excellent planning and organizational skills and problem-solving ability Independent decision-making skills and project execution skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks and projects What Is Helpful: Experience working with higher education technologies Web development, database, query tools, web conferencing, presentation software, and data management skills Experience in Adobe software and SQL What We Want You To Know: Purdue will not sponsor employment authorization for this position A background check is required for employment in this position FLSA: Exempt (Not eligible for overtime) Retirement Eligibility: Defined Contribution Waiting Period Purdue University is an EOE/AA employer.
