The Opportunity
As the Process Automation Engineer at Denim, you will play a crucial role in driving efficiency and scalability across our business. Reporting to the VP of Product, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automation solutions that enhance our team's capabilities and improve client experiences. This role is at the intersection of technology and business operations, requiring a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen.
In this role, you will work closely with Client Relationship Managers, Portfolio Risk Managers, Product Managers, and the Engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvement, develop innovative solutions using both low-code tools and custom development, and drive the adoption of new technologies across the organization. Your work will be instrumental in enabling Denim to scale its operations efficiently while maintaining our high standards of client service.
This position is ideal for a mid to senior-level professional with strong technical skills, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Compensation Range:
$100,000.00 - $116,000.00
Denim believes in providing pay transparency to all candidates. For annual compensation, our pay ranges for all roles are based on geographic location, job responsibilities and experience, benchmarked against similar stage companies in our industry. We share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Every final offer presented is determined by several components including location as well as candidate experience and skills, and could alter from the amounts listed above.

- 5+ years of experience in software development, automation, or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL and JavaScript
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Zapier, Retool)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Client facing demeanor and service orientation
- Experience in fintech or financial services
- Familiarity with API integration and development
