Job 47658 NP Needed for Primary Care in NYC NP Needed for Primary Care in NYC Dates: 11/18/2024 to 12/27/2024 with HIGH possibility of extension. Coverage Needed for: Monday - Friday Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm Lunch: 30 minutes unpaid Brief Overview: -Minor in-office procedures and testing: COVID testing (Rapid/PCR), Strep Throat, Influenza or Mono POCT testing, Splinter removal, Urinalysis/HCG testing and analysis, knowledge of preforming phlebotomy (MA on staff can perform phlebotomy but may need to occasionally preform if she is not available in office), administering nebulizer, and reading EKGs. -Cerumen impaction removal, Eye care (eye wash available in office for foreign body), Pap Smears and STD testing, Breast examination, complete annual physical exams- referrals to appropriate physicians for preventative care, wound care (minor burns, cuts, blisters), evaluating acute musculoskeletal injuries and splinting minor injuries (wrist, fingers). -Ability to evaluate, diagnosis, and prescribe treatments of acute and chronic illness -Administer vaccinations (TDAP, Shingles, travel vaccines upon request)/allergy shots (working collaboratively with patient's allergist) and educating patients regarding aftercare For more information, please call, text or email Brian Tebben SUMO Medical Staffing Providing a better experience 801-251-0520 Direct Line Brian.tebbensumostaffing.com www.sumostaffing.com NALTO member since 2007
