Job Description:
Automation engineer with strong in coding Java
• Having 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Automation testing involving requirement analysis, test cases, and executing Test and Evaluation (T&E) master plans for diverse applications and systems.
• Experience in software-testing processes like Test Planning, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management, Test log, Test results, Test Traceability Matrix, Test Automation
• Experience in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and in all dimensions of Functionality, Usability & Reliability.
• Experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) using Selenium Automation and JAVA.
• Experienced in RESTFUL Web Services Testing. Validated JSON formatted data, different http status code.
• Experience in Jenkins jobs that trigger Automation Test Suite.
• Experience in Develop and execute automated testing tools - Functional, Regression, Smoke, Web/UI and (UAT) User Acceptance Testing.
• Extensive experience in reviewing and analyzing Business Requirements and writing detailed Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test reports, defect tracking and retesting.
• Strong Experience in Java Programming, Selenium Webdriver and TestNG.
• Developed Test Scripts to implement Features, Test Scenarios and Step-Definition for BDD (Behavior Driven Development) using Cucumber (Gherkins format).
• Experience in Data Driven and Hybrid automation framework with POM Model.
• Experience in release plans, User story walkthrough.
• Extensive experience in Manual as well as Automation testing of Web based application.
• Executing test cases, ad-hoc product testing, reporting bugs and reporting tester status, writing test scripts, test automation using diverse testing tools like Selenium.
• Participated in full SDLC and handled projects involving the different phases of SDLC like requirements gathering, design, coding, testing and maintenance.
• Participate in Agile Scrum methodology and attend Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning and Sprint Demo and Sprint Retrospective meetings.
• Strong in writing SQL queries and No SQL queries to perform backend data validations.
• Excellent experience with source version control tools like Subversion (SVN), Team Foundation Server (TFS) & GIT, Bit bucket.
• Experience in working on Web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experienced in using Defect Tracking tools such as Client Quality Center and JIRA, qTest.
• Strong in writing SQL to perform data setup and backend data validations.
• Good Knowledge of Sauce Labs.
• Ability to understand client requirements and provide the best solution.
• Good analytical and communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform as part of a team.
