Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Sr Cloud Data Architect:

• Engage in hands-on development with NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
• Utilize event-based streaming technologies like Apache Kafka or Azure Event Hub
• Apply advanced understanding of data modeling for both relational and NoSQL databases
• Optimize databases for high transaction processing using advanced SQL concepts
• Handle structured and semi-structured data forms, including JSON and XML
• This is a 6-month contract with potential for extension

• 12+ years of software development experience with a focus on database-centric applications
• 4+ years of hands-on development experience with NoSQL databases
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with event-based streaming technologies
• Proficiency in advanced SQL concepts and experience optimizing databases for high transaction processing
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and cloud-based architectures (Azure, AWS)
