Transmission Line Design Engineer

Selectek is partnering with a company in eastern Atlanta, Georgia to hire a Transmission Line Design Engineer. This company specializes in electricity transmission, and candidates will need a strong mechanical or structural design background. Employment Type: Permanent Hire Expected Pay Range: $75,000-$100,000 annual salary, depending on experience Location: eastern Atlanta, GA Job Duties: Candidates will create physical designs of transmission lines. This role will require candidates to create drawings, specs, and contract documents for construction and fabrication. Engineering studies, evaluation and approval of materials, and design standards development will also be required. Job Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in either Structural or Mechanical Engineering - 3+ years of experience in transmission line design - Proficiency with PLS-CADD - Knowledge of AutoCAD - Proficient with Microsoft Office systems Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p.
