Job Summary: The Systems and Server Engineer is pivotal in architecting and managing the technologies and processes essential for the optimal functioning of the hospital's computer systems related to end-user devices. This includes responsibility for printers, servers, applications, and endpoint security through centralized management tools. The role encompasses design and enforcement of system standards, maintenance of hardware configurations, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. Job Duties: Design and maintain comprehensive endpoint architecture for both physical and virtualized environments. Implement and manage server standards to streamline endpoint management across various platforms including BYOD and domain-managed profiles. Regularly update and enforce security policies and configurations to ensure system integrity and protection against vulnerabilities. Monitor and optimize the performance and availability of all system endpoints. Provide tier-2 technical support, managing both routine and emergency issues effectively. Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Engage in continuous learning to maintain a high level of competency in technological advancements. Participate in the design and execution of system upgrades and data migration projects. Maintain documentation for system configurations, operations, and troubleshooting procedures. Provide after-hours support and participate in on-call rotations to address critical system issues and ensure continuous service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Accuracy: Ensure precise payroll processing and data entry to avoid discrepancies. Compliance: Stay current with payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Communication: Maintain clear communication with employees regarding payroll inquiries. Confidentiality: Handle all payroll information with strict confidentiality. Efficiency: Streamline payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: Minimum five (5) years of experience in endpoint architecture within a Windows environment. Proficiency in managing Windows OS, Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and Print Servers. Skilled in VMWare and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, with a solid understanding of networked environments and endpoint security management. Experience with Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft MDT, and troubleshooting complex system issues. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. VMware, Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto certifications. MCTS, MCSA, or Microsoft Specialist for Configuring Windows Devices. Desktop Virtualization certifications (e.g., VMware Horizon View, Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp). Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant professional experience may substitute for formal education. Salary Range: $49.15 to $63.35 per hour
