Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Overall experience - 8 plus years of experience with strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL Architecture, development, and governance
- U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are not able to sponsor at this time.
- Candidate can be located anywhere in US and should be ready to travel to Dallas/Memphis on a need basis.
- Required to have at least 1 or 2 full life cycle implementation experience in design and development of Oracle high demand OLTP transaction Application.
- Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL programming with strong Performance Tuning, Partitioning of tables, Indexing, Bulk Collections (Advanced PL / SQL concepts).
- Expert in PL/SQL development for Oracle high demand OLTP/reporting applications
- Must have thorough understanding, knowledge, exposure to advanced SQL and PL/SQL (collections, Native Dynamic SQL etc).
- Extensive experience with Data Transfers/Sharing using Flat Files, DB Links
- Exposure to C#, .NET would be a nice to have.
- Experience with large databases with high transaction volume in a fast-paced, production environment
- Expert in troubleshooting, optimizing, and performance tuning PL/SQL queries/procedures.
- Experience at Oracle performance tuning
- Should be able to analyze Execution Plans, TKPROF and AWR reports.
- Sound knowledge of Oracle Data Modeling
- Experience implementing Materialized views for reporting applications.
- Strong Data Analysis skills like SQL development, data transfers, advanced SQL queries etc.
- Complete and supervise development tasks based on requirements submitted by business partners and best practices.
- Strong leadership skills to support planning activities including identifying tasks, task prioritization, dependencies, logical sequencing, etc.
- Strong communication skills to articulate recommendations, advise and work closely with the Business team.
