Job Summary: CAT scan Technologists use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patient's internal organs and tissues to diagnose medical issues. A CT Technologist must be able to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.

Role and Responsibilities:

• As a CT Technologist, you will operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce detailed images of a patient's internal organs and tissues for medical diagnosis.

• Your responsibilities include accurately interpreting physician instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and positioning patients, and operating the CT equipment.

• You'll work independently and communicate effectively with patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults.

Requirements:

• Graduate of 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.

• ARRT (RT) (CT) is required and CE compliance

• Current BLS certification required.

• 1 year of CT Technologist experience is required.
