The Impact You'll Make:
The Senior Analytics Engineer II reports into the Manager, Analytics Engineering. As an individual contributor, you'll lead by example and foster a collaborative environment in which learning is encouraged and code quality is a priority. You'll help shape the technical roadmap and ensure your team is aligned with both short-term and long-term goals.
This hybrid role is required to work at our NYC office in the Flatiron District for 2 days/week.
Compensation:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 - $180,000 + equity options + benefits. The final starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. You'll help shape the technical roadmap and ensure your team is aligned with both short-term and long-term goals.
- Transform raw data into meaningful, structured datasets that empower the Consumer Analytics team to understand consumer behavior
- Lead the implementation and management of data ingestion workflows using Fivetran for seamless integration of data sources
- Design and improve data pipelines into Snowflake and use dbt to create data models that are optimized for querying by downstream teams
- Use Dagster to orchestrate workflows, monitor pipeline health, and minimize data latency
- Implement best practices for data validation and set up checks to verify data accuracy and consistency throughout the pipeline
- Work with data governance and security teams to ensure compliance with security and privacy regulations
- 5+ years of data or analytics engineering experience related to consumer data
- Proficiency with SQL and either Python or Java and knowledge of
- Experience with ETL and data warehouse, transformation, and orchestration tools
- Knowledge of marketing technologies such as Segment, Appsflyer, or Iterable
- Experience partnering with marketing practitioners and product managers
- Programming: Python, Java, SQL
- Data Tools: Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, and Hex
- Cloud Infrastructure: AWS (Lambdas, S3, DynamoDB, and Aurora)
- Marketing Technology: Segment, Appsflyer, Iterable
- DevOps: Terraform, GitHub Actions
