FHIR Data Engineer

Contract Duration - 6 months with extensions potential to hire full-time 

Overall years of experience 3-5

Local, remote, hybrid - remote 

Interview Process - first round 1 hour interview with hiring manager, second round 30 min with the team 

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on healthcare data integration and management.
• FHIR Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with FHIR API protocols and standards, including the design and deployment of FHIR-compliant APIs.
• Data Lake Proficiency: Extensive experience in designing, building, and managing data lakes on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and familiarity with associated technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala; experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark; strong SQL skills.

Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with cloud-based data engineering tools and services, such as AWS S3, Redshift, Glue, Azure Data Lake, or Google BigQuery.
