A national leader in Energy Efficiency Services is looking to add their next Engineering leader!
Hays has partnered with a well known, national provider of Energy Efficiency services, to help them bring on their next VP Of Engineering. If you're an experienced, technical leader, with a strong track history of consulting on large ($2M-$75M) Energy Efficiency & MEP projects, and you're looking to take ownership of an Engineering department, then this could be the opportunity for you.
Job Description: The Vice President of Engineering will be responsible for leading and managing the engineering division, across multiple offices, ensuring the delivery of high-qualit services to our clients. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and fostering innovation within the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Oversee the entire engineering process from concept to completion, ensuring projects meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Business Development and Operations, to develop and deliver comprehensive solutions for clients.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and project management.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in engineering technology and practices.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 15 years of experience in engineering consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale Energy Efficency projects. ($2M-$75M)
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- PE License heavily preferred.
