Data Scientist / MLOps Engineer
(TS/SCI Cleared) Salary: $175-225k
Depending on experience About the Role: Were seeking an innovative technologist to drive cutting-edge AI/ML solutions for critical national security projects. In this role, youll combine expertise in data engineering, machine learning, and operational deployment to design, build, and scale solutions that empower decision-makers and solve real-world challenges. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deploy scalable machine learning models and pipelines in secure environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate mission requirements into actionable data solutions. Design and implement MLOps frameworks, automating model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring. Conduct data exploration and preprocessing to uncover actionable insights from diverse datasets. Apply advanced analytics techniques to support decision-making and operational objectives. Optimize cloud-based infrastructure for high performance, cost-efficiency, and security compliance. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear, impactful formats. What You Bring: Clearance:
Active TS/SCI (CI polygraph preferred). Experience:
5+ years in data science, machine learning, or MLOps roles supporting government or defense initiatives. Technical Expertise: Proficient in Python, R, or similar languages. Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn and SageMaker or Vertex AI. CI/CD pipelines and MLOps tools: MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes. Data Skills:
Strong background in ETL, data wrangling, and statistical modeling. Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities in high-stakes environments.
