Senior Manager, Co-Manufacturing ! This role works closely with both internal and external partners to identify, create and execute strategies and projects with Co-Man Suppliers to deliver significant cost, quality and delivery performance improvements. This role will also work closely with innovation and marketing leads within the organization in order to deliver new products in the marketplace. This is position is based in Broomfield, Colorado with travel (25-50% at times). In this role, you will be responsible for: Leading and developing strategic contract manufacturing relationships with key partners. Working with Ingredients and Packaging Procurement, R&D and Quality teams to identify, develop and implement process improvements, quality systems improvements and cost reductions. Creating and aligning negotiation strategies and leading the negotiation with contract manufacturers. Develop a thorough understanding of our core business operations and innovation roadmap. Identify and map co-packer capabilities to align with partners who can best support both our foundational needs and innovative projects. Interfacing with internal & external partners to identify quality, processing and supply chain issues and collaboratively pursue solutions. Identifying improvement projects and managing cross-functional implementation to improve performance of key components and suppliers. Work with R&D managers to identify and assess new supplier technologies and capabilities to support new product introductions and /or cost improvement projects. Engage with and assist in onboarding new strategic contract manufacturers and work with internal teams to study and implement optimal network solutions. Providing regular feedback to sourcing on supplier performance and improvement plans; to be utilized as foundational elements in category strategies that drive supplier selection and preferred status. Leading Supplier facing efforts/programs such as Supplier Cost Reduction, Zero Waste and New Product Development. The base compensation range for this position is $120,000-$140,000 commensurate with experience. About You: Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent experience (Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, etc.), MBA preferred. You will have a minimum of five (7) years experience required, preferably in CPG beverage/food supply chain procurement. Ability to take initiative with little supervision. Demonstrated cross-functional leadership skills. Strong business acumen and passion for process improvement. You have experience in commercialization/launches of new products. Proved experience of contract negotiation. Significant experience in identifying and delivering productivity projects.
